The beauty about CrossFit is that it is coached in small group training sessions and absolutely anyone can participate in crossFit workouts regardless of age, gender, body type/size and fitness level. If a workout is too heavy or the movement requires more strength and flexibility, no problem! We simply set a personalised version of the workout to suit you. We pride ourselves on being a supportive community where you will be supported not only by your coaches but your peers as well.
We always encourage you to come and do a free trial session and see if you like it (no experience needed), if you do we offer all new beginners Foundations consisting of 4 personal training sessions which goes through the fundamentals such as, body weight movements, basic gymnastics and lifting so when you come into class you are familiar with the movements. This can be done solo or you are welcome to invite a friend to join along. So if you have never been to a gym before or you have been to a gym before but you felt like you had no idea what you were doing or people were judging you, I can assure you it won’t be anything like that here at CrossFit 5000. We will be there every step of the way.
If you have done CrossFit before or have a basic knowledge on training you are welcome to come straight into classes however we pride ourselves on good form and mechanics so leave the ego at the door and see what 5000 is about.
