Our CrossFit Kids & Teens classes here at 5000 are about teaching kids the fundamental movements in a fun and positive environment. We believe that as they learn new skills it builds confidence in tackling the unknown once they step outside the gym walls. As kids & teens get older it is important that we recognise the peer pressure they are faced with, with an ever growing social media influence and help them build the strength and confidence to endure these pressures. We encourage them to learn the skills of working as an individual and in team environments. Our classes include warm up, a skill set that varies between gymnastics, strength, endurance and power and follows with a workout and finished with an active game reminding us that fitness is fun. We are inclusive to all ages from 6-17years and from the not so active kids to the kids that are looking for additional strength & conditioning paired with their sport.
